Hi, I'm Su Ann
Like many women who play multiple roles, I'm a mum, wife, daughter, sister, colleague and friend. I was born and bred in Kuala Lumpur. I spent time abroad for my tertiary education and worked overseas for a number of years, but I finally came home to Malaysian soil.
Aside from my main profession, I serve as an Education Consultant. Together with a team of women who also have the same passion, I earn a side income & work on my Plan B by focusing on 2 things:
Providing children with a learning tool that enables them to enjoy doing revision + study more effectively
Helping ladies from all walks of life start and grow our own online education business
...so that we can have better control of our own lives !!
I'm a Mother
I have been a full-time working mum for many years. I have a very active and cheeky son whose love language is touch and words of affirmation. He craves for attention, especially in the form of hugs, tickles and meaningful conversations. In his early years, as I focused on my career, I experienced what we call "mom-guilt". It involved pushing him away when I had deadlines to meet and extra hours to clock in.
I was an Educator
I have more than 10 years of experience as a teacher, both in Singapore and Malaysia. I started out teaching children with special needs (dyslexic and autistic), and then I taught children in preschool, primary and secondary school. My students have ranged between 4 years old and 14 years old. During the pandemic, I also developed the skill of helping kids to learn via online lessons. I enjoy interacting with children.
I'm a Manager
At my workplace, I help to run parenting courses and youth mentorship programs. I also manage a team of Customer Service and Admin Executives to ensure that events run smoothly, both physical and online. We are starting a new college this year, so exciting times are ahead! The best thing about facing challenges is being able to build my skills and develop new competencies.
I'm also an Education Consultant
In January 2021, I chanced upon a digital learning platform that could help my son improve in his studies. Once I saw how fantastic it was, I decided to become an Education Consultant to bless other children (and their parents). At the same time, I get to build a better future for my family.By recommending this program, I have reached and helped more than 60 parents and students. I also used this digital platform to teach children online.Along the way, I have made many new friends, and we continue to learn and grow together in this business. Thanks to my very supportive leaders and mentors, I have reached many milestones and I now lead a team of entrepreneurs to achieve new heights of success.
